As I watch the snow drift softly to the ground, I can’t help but reflect on how much has changed—and continues to change—in our world. More snow is on the way, and as I hear from friends and clients navigating their own challenges, I feel called to share a message of resilience and self-care.
We are living in uncertain times, and for many, it feels like we’re navigating uncharted waters. The world is shifting rapidly, and with that shift comes a mix of emotions—fear, uncertainty, and, at times, overwhelm.
Wherever you sit on the political spectrum, recent events have been difficult to process, both in the U.S. and around the world. The overall tone feels increasingly rigid and stringent, creating an atmosphere of fear and leaving little room for reflection and contemplation. It’s easy to feel lost in the loud chatter of our disaster mind—the part of us that warns, worries, and replays past mistakes while drowning out the wisdom of our intuitive heart.
So, what do we do? Should we give up? Give in? Simply adjust and accommodate?
Absolutely not. Now, more than ever, is the time to care deeply for yourself. This isn’t selfish—it’s self-preservation. When we nurture our inner peace, we cultivate the clarity and strength to shape a better world.

Cry if you need to—releasing emotions can be profoundly healing.
Diffuse essential oils—use calming scents like lavender or grounding oils like frankincense.
Take a soothing bath—set aside time for relaxation and self-care.
Write love notes to yourself—remind yourself of your worth and resilience.
Set healthy boundaries—protect your energy and well-being.
Connect through Your SPIRIT
Meditate—find stillness and listen to your inner guidance.
Pray—connect with your higher self or a higher power.
Connect with others—build relationships that nourish your soul.
Spend time in nature—let the earth ground and restore you.
Practice ritual and ceremony—create meaningful routines that bring you peace.
Ground and shield—energetically protect yourself from negativity.
