It’s hard to believe that Tuesday, 365 Soulful Messages: the Right Guidance at the Right Time, the fifth and final volume of the 365 Book Series was released! It seems just like yesterday, I wrote and submitted my first three pieces to Jodi and Dan for 365 Moments of Grace, the second volume in the 365 Book Series. Now four years later, I have written and submitted my final five pieces published in 365 Soulful Messages: the Right Guidance at the Right Time. Please note these are Amazon Affiliate links. Becoming a contributing author to the 365 Book series has been such a big part of my life and something I looked forward to each year since I accepted a dare to myself to follow my heart, my intuition, and Divine guidance to make one of my childhood dreams true. It was the beginning of my writing career, creating life-long friendships and so much more!
I am so grateful for Jodi and Dan following their own hearts and soulful messages that led to the creation of the 365 Book Series and all the goodness they have brought to my life through the book series.
I would like to share one of one my pieces with you in the hopes that it will inspire you to follow your own heart towards making your dreams come true too!
A Dare to Follow My Heart

My heart cried out with joy as soon as I saw the Facebook ad to become a contributing author, but my ego mind quickly took over with false belief systems programmed into my mind since early childhood: “You can’t do this. You aren’t good enough. No one is going want to read what you wrote.” But I somehow summoned up enough courage to follow my heart, intuition, and divine guidance and reached out to Jodi about my interest in contributing to the 365 Moments of Grace book. It was a dare to myself, as deep down I truly didn’t believe they would respond, never mind be interested in publishing my writing.
They did respond! I was so surprised when I eagerly checked my email and saw she was interested in my ideas about what I would like to write about and would love to have me join as a contributing author. But then I started to second-guess myself as my self-doubt and self-sabotaging mechanisms began kicking in. “Now what I am going to do?” I thought as I began making up excuses as to why I couldn’t do it: “I can’t afford it, I don’t know how to write, I will never be able to meet the word-count requirement, and no one will like my pieces.”
Despite all these false belief systems, excuses, and doubts, I did it! I accepted that dare to myself and signed up to be a contributing author. I am so glad I did. It was the beginning of my writing career and making many more of my dreams come true. I continued as a contributing author to the 365 Book Series, stepping more and more out of my comfort zone with the love and support of Jodi, Dan, and our 365-author community, growing and expanding with each one.
Now I am about to publish my first two solo books. I didn’t realize at that time just how much that dare to follow my heart would change my life.
